Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Slopfactory handles data for internal video publishing workflows.

Data Handling & Acquisition

The following list is the exhaustive list of user data Slopfactory accesses, uses, stores or collects. This is the minimal set of data that is required for Slopfactory to function.

YouTube

  • OAuth authorization code during connection.
  • OAuth access token.
  • OAuth refresh token.
  • Token expiration time.
  • Connected channel ID.
  • Connected channel name.

The next section only applies to posts created from within Slopfactory.

  • Video file.
  • Thumbnail image.
  • Video title.
  • Video description. Formerly named caption in UI.
  • Video privacy status.
  • Posting status.
  • Scheduled publishing date and time.
  • YouTube video ID

Instagram

  • OAuth authorization code during connection.
  • Access token.
  • User ID.
  • Username.
  • Account name.
  • Account type.

The next section only applies to posts created from within Slopfactory.

  • Video file.
  • Thumbnail image.
  • Caption.
  • Posting status.
  • Media container ID.
  • Published media ID.

Data use, processing, and sharing

Slopfactory uses the listed data to authenticate connected platform accounts, prepare posts, upload videos, set post metadata, and track publishing results.

For YouTube, video files, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, privacy status, scheduled publishing data, and OAuth credentials are processed through YouTube API Services only to perform the requested upload and publishing actions.

For Instagram, video files, thumbnails, captions, and access tokens are processed through Instagram APIs only to perform the requested upload and publishing actions.

Slopfactory does not sell user data. Slopfactory does not share user data with third parties except the platform APIs required to complete the requested publishing action.

Cookies and device storage

Slopfactory may use strictly necessary session cookies or similar browser storage to keep users logged in, protect authentication flows, and operate the dashboard. Slopfactory does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.

Refresh, update, and deletion cadence

YouTube OAuth tokens are stored while authorization remains active and until the account is disconnected from the slopfactory dashboard. The tokens are used only for the consented upload and publishing actions.

Stored YouTube API Data, including connected channel ID, connected channel name, and uploaded YouTube video ID, is refreshed or deleted every 14 days. If authorization can no longer be refreshed, related YouTube API Data is deleted.

Users may request deletion of stored data by contacting us. Requested deletions are completed as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days.

Users may also revoke Slopfactory access from Google Account permissions. After revocation, related YouTube API Data is deleted as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days.
